Yes. Clicking any physical button on the coop door’s control panel will trigger the coop door to connect to the internet. This connection check is required for command collision (related FAQ: command-collision). When a physical button is clicked, the coop door checks the internet connection earlier than scheduled, so a pending command may be received and executed immediately.
